Arthur
J. Ferraro was born in Bronx, New York on June 21, 1940. He received his
Bachelors Degree from Iona College and his Juris Doctor degree from New York
University School of Law. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 1965.
Further admissions include the Southern, Eastern and Northern District Federal
Courts, Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Arthur’s concentrated area of practice is personal injury and general
litigation. Prior to the private practice of law, he served as an
Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorneys Office from
1965 to 1969 where he tried major felony offenses to verdict. His
litigation experience continued in his private practice including both criminal
and civil cases. His criminal trial experience includes several murder
cases and other major felony trials many of which resulted in successful
verdicts. On the civil side, his litigation experience is even broader. He
has successfully tried many negligence and other civil litigation matters to
verdict with a major emphasis on personal injury and wrongful death cases.
Arthur routinely tries cases in the New York metropolitan area including New
York City and upstate New York. Recent cases include a multi-million dollar
train accident jury verdict in Orange County, New York and numerous high
six-figure settlements.

THOMAS P. ZUGIBE

Thomas
P. Zugibe was born in Suffern, New York on February 13, 1953. He received his
Bachelors Degree from Manhattan College in 1975 and his Juris Doctor Degree from
St. John’s University School of Law in 1979. In 1980, he was admitted to the New
York Bar and the Federal District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts
of New York.
Tom served as a Special Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the New York
State Deputy Attorney General for Medicaid Fraud Control and as the Executive
Assistant District Attorney in the Rockland County District Attorneys Office.
His tenure in the District Attorney’s Office included directing the Narcotics
Division and the Major Offense Division where he investigated and tried major
felony cases to verdict. Since entering the practice of law in January, 1987,
trial work, particularly personal injury and commercial litigation, has been his
primary area of practice. Tom is also the
Judge for the Village of West Haverstraw, New York. He is currently serving his
fourth term having first been elected to the bench in 1989.

Stacey Ames Heeney graduated cum laude in May 1992 from Geneseo
College with a
Bachelors Degree in Communications. She received her Juris Doctor Degree with a Certificate in Environmental Law, from
Pace University School of Law in May, 1998. Stacey is admitted to practice law
in New York and New Jersey.
Stacey gained extensive legal experience as an associate in
a large law firm as well as a sole practitioner. Her areas of practice include personal injury, medical
malpractice, matrimonial
and criminal law, and environmental and commercial litigation.
Most recently, she
served as a public defender in Putnam and Dutchess counties.

Jennifer S. Parietti was born in Nyack, New York on August 17, 1976. She
received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from High Point
University in High Point, North Carolina. She received here Juris Doctor Degree
from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in May 2002.
Jennifer is admitted to practice law in New York
During
law school, Jennifer served as a summer clerk in Clarkstown Justice Court.
Before joining the firm, she practiced personal injury and insurance defense at
a New York City law firm. Jennifer’s areas of practice include matrimonial,
family, commercial and criminal litigation.
She is
a member of the Columbian Lawyers’ Association, the Rockland County Bar
Association, the New York State Bar Association and American Bar Association.

Sonia
Burgos-Crannage was born
in the Bronx,
New York
in 1947; She is a
graduate of Adelphi University and the Jacob D. Fuchsburg Law Center of Touro
College where she
received her Juris Doctor in 1987. She was admitted to the New York Bar in 1988.
Sonia, who
is of Counsel to the firm, was the former New York State coordinator for the
National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. (NAELA). She has lectured on
issues concerning the elderly and the disabled at CUNY Law School, Suffolk
Academy of Law, C. W. Post College, Hofstra University, various accounting
associations, parent organizations, and Senior Citizen centers. She has
spoken about Elder Law and issues concerning the disabled on various radio
stations including WMCA in New York City, WGBB, WLIM and WRIV on Long Island.
In addition, in July, 1999, she was instrumental in securing the second largest
civil rights verdict in the State of New York: sixteen million dollars for a
psychologist falsely accused of molesting a developmentally disabled patient.
She appeared on Dateline, NBC and was interviewed by the New York Times, New
York Newsday, and featured in People Magazine regarding her work on that case.
Ms.
Burgos-Crannage is a member of the New York State and Rockland County Bar
Association, and is an active member of various committees. She has been at the
forefront of the guardianship legislation in New York State enacted under Mental
Hygiene Law Article 81; the legislation on both the state and federal level
(OBRA '93) with regard to Supplemental Needs Trust for persons with disabilities
and the recent legislation concerning the Health Care Decisions Act for Person
with Mental Retardation which will be effective in March, 2003. She is an
advocate for the disabled, a mother of a child with disabilities and a
legislative consultant.
She was recently named the “Pride of Rockland” by the Rockland County
Legislature. |
